Legend of Korra: The Shores of Republic City by TemaTime Legend of Korra: The Shores of Republic City by TemaTime
TADAAA~ The first picture from my photo shoot with Eric Anderson!!! More pictures to come!!!

This costume was surprisingly challenging, particularly the shirt, wig and shoes. I ended up making the entire shirt, and the collar i made a bazillion times and it just wasn't working out, so after many hours, I threw out everything I did and :iconadmantius: made the shirt in like 2 hours. It was crazy.

But anyway! Here you go! I hope you enjoy, and look forward to lots of very exciting bending pictures and videos. More stuff with fire to come!

I'm being trained right now in the art of bending by my two bending teachers both named Richard, one is teaching me the different fighting styles and one is teaching me the art of poi.

If you'd like to see my bending progress so far, check out this video~ [link]¤t=KorraOverall.mp4

Awesome Korra! I have to ask, how did you make the boots, and where did you get the super fluffy fur from??

You slightly darkened your skintone, right? What makeup did you use to accomplish it?

Just typical stuff from walmart. Nuetragina etc. I mostly tanned for the cosplay so you might have to get something darker.

Wow! Well, was there a specific makeup sealer or something you used in order to not smear it on the costume? I'm asking cuz we're trying to "tan" my sis, but she doesn't tan even a little to begin with. XD

I use a make up powder sealer. You can just get a translucent sealing powder, but baby powder works fine too~
